Help Women Escape Abuse. Support the Casa Betania Project
In the parish of St. Columban, we have seven chapel communities and two of these chapel communities now have migrant house projects. The Migrant House called "Casa Betania" is one of those.
Casa Betania, has been set up to exclusively receive migrant women and children, victims of domestic violence, who are in hiding from their male partners and who have nowhere else to live.
The project consists of two phases:
- • Fixing the Building – Work needs to be done on the existing building to fix the roof, install insulation, turn meeting rooms into living space and develop new meeting room space.
- • Support for Casa Betania – Financial help to purchase beds and household furniture, pay utility bills and buy food.
Your generosity will help migrant women escape domestic violence and begin a new life.
